Physical Development

Fine motor skills are incorporated in the Practical Life activities such as pouring, spooning, scooping, cutting, etc. Large muscle development includes activities such as easel painting, group movement games, dancing, balance beam, parachute play, and playground experiences.

Social Development

Our staff provides an environment that encourages development of social skills, including, but not limited to sharing, respecting other’s rights, conversing, working together, respect for oneself, respect for environment, confidence and independence.

Emotional Development

Monarch Montessori School provides a nurturing environment that is non-threatening, non-judgmental, positive and one which attempts to meet each child’s individual emotional needs.

Cognitive Development

We make every effort to maintain a school that is stimulating and engaging while instilling a love of learning. This includes a 3 hour uninterrupted work cycle for each class.
